A handcuffed Persico ordered the hit as he sat inside the funeral home viewing his grandmother. He was accompanied by three officers from the New York Correctional Department.
He was sentenced by Brooklyn Federal Judge Sandra Townes to 12 years in prison. He assured the judge "I won't be here again".
